Emo Nads

A hand-drawn PFP collection. Built by the community, on Monad. Grab the kit, draw a trait, a full 1/1, or a background. Get credited and GTD WL for submissions that make it into the collection.

Made with the kit

Built by the community.

Every Emo Nad is hand-drawn by someone in this community. No outsourced art, no AI, no asset packs. Submit a single trait, a full 1/1, or a background. The best ones make the cut.

Locked palette

Two swatch sets, Core + Gear, tie every piece together.

Hand-drawn only

Emonad Brush for every line. Flat palette fills. No AI, no asset packs.

Credit + GTD WL

If your work is selected, you get credited and GTD WL.

Six simple steps.

The kit is built for Procreate, but the template also opens in Photoshop. Draw each trait on its own layer over the fixed body base.

1

Download the kit

Grab the template, both palettes, and the Emonad Brush from the section below.

2

Open the template

3000 × 3000, every trait layer named and ready. Don't resize the canvas.

3

Pick a trait slot

Hair/Hats, Mouth, Eyes, Clothes, Tattoos, or Background. The body + nose are fixed, so draw on top, don't redraw them.

4

Draw with the Emonad Brush

Linework at 12% (the default). Size down for fine details if you want, then flat-fill with palette colors only.

5

Export a transparent PNG

Hide every layer except yours. Name it like hair-spikes.png. Submitting a full 1/1? Include all your trait layers so the whole character exports together.

6

Submit

Send it through the form below. Tag your X handle for credit.

The official palette.

Click any swatch to copy its hex. Every piece must use only these colors.

Trait slots & layer order

top → bottom
1

Hair / Hats

Top layer. Drawing a hat? Draw the hair under it too, or leave them bald if you want.

2

Mouth

Lips, fangs, lip rings and snake bites all live on the mouth slot.

3

Eyes

Eyebrows live here too, so submit brows together with the eyes.

4

Clothes

Shirt, hoodie, coat, collar, etc.

5

Tattoos

Face, neck, body ink. Sits under the clothes.

6

Body + nose FIXED

The base everyone draws on. The nose is always the same, so don't redraw it.

7

Background

Bottom layer.

Read this first.

Submissions that break any of these get rejected. No exceptions.

Do this

Palette colors only

Every color from the Core or Gear swatches. Nothing off-palette.

Emonad Brush only

The only brush to use. Outlines at 12% (size down for fine details), then flat palette fills.

One trait, one layer

Keep your trait on its own layer. Export a transparent PNG.

Hats: hair or bald

Drawing headwear? Add hair under it, or leave them bald. Both work.

× Don't do this

Don't touch the body or nose

They're fixed for the whole set. Draw on top, never redraw them.

No AI generation

Anything we suspect is AI-generated gets rejected.

No stolen art

Only submit work you made yourself and fully own.

Common questions.

What tool should I use? +

Procreate. The kit (template, palettes, and the Emonad Brush) is built for it. The .psd template also opens in Photoshop if that's your thing, and the Emonad Brush is the only brush to use.

Can I submit multiple pieces? +

Yes. As many as you want. Each as its own PNG, named clearly. Quality over quantity though.

What's a trait vs a 1/1? +

A trait is one element (eyes, mouth, hair, accessory) that gets combined with a base + other traits to generate PFPs. A 1/1 is the whole character drawn together. It ships as a single unique mint. For a 1/1, still use the trait slots, and add a custom background if you want.

Do I get credit if my piece is selected? +

Yes. Selected submitters get credit on the collection page and GTD WL. Exact details get announced before mint.

I'm not a great artist. Help? +

Start on the template to get a feel for the canvas, then try a simple trait: sunglasses, a tear, etc. Use the Emonad Brush and stay on palette and it'll already look like it belongs.

When does the collection mint? +

Wen it's done.
