EMONAD NFT — PROCREATE KIT
==========================

WHAT'S IN THE FOLDER
--------------------
- EmonadCore.swatches ...... character + universal shade/highlight + hair + skin (26 colors)
- EmonadGear.swatches ...... clothing + tattoos + jewelry + backgrounds (28 colors)
- Emonad-NFT-Template.psd .. 3000x3000 @ 300dpi template with all trait layer groups
- Emonad Brush.brush ....... the MANDATORY linework brush — use for every outline
- README.txt ............... this file

OFFICIAL BRUSH
--------------
The "Emonad Brush" is the one and only brush used for linework on every NFT
in the collection. Don't mix in other brushes for outlines — the line texture
needs to stay consistent across the whole set.

Color fills and shading can use whatever brush you want, but every visible
outline / contour / hair-flick should be drawn with the Emonad Brush.

HOW TO LOAD ON IPAD
-------------------
1. AirDrop or Files-app the whole folder to your iPad.
2. Tap each .swatches file -> "Open in Procreate". Both palettes appear in the
Palettes panel (the color disc -> Palettes tab).
3. Tap Emonad Brush.brush -> "Open in Procreate". Brush appears in your
   Brushes panel under "Imported".
4. Tap Emonad-NFT-Template.psd -> "Open in Procreate". Procreate imports the
canvas with every layer group named and ready.
5. Procreate menu -> Actions -> Share -> Procreate. Save it. NOW you have a
real native .procreate file made by Procreate itself.

LAYER ORDER (PFP / waist-up — bottom -> top in panel)
-----------------------------------------------------
BG (one layer — transparent by default)
Hair Back (drawn behind the head)
  Body (head + shoulders silhouette)
  Skin
Tattoos (Face / Neck / Shoulders — three trait slots)
Shirt / Collar (only upper portion visible in PFP crop)
  Brows
  Eyes (white + pupil)
Mouth (Mouth + Mouth Accessory for lip rings/snake bites/etc.)
  Hair Front (drawn over face)
Necklaces (chains, chokers, dog tags — single trait slot)
Headwear (beanies, caps, halos, horns, hoodie up — on top of hair)
Outline (main linework — keep on top so traits never cover it)
  Guides (locked, hidden by default)

ONE LAYER PER TRAIT (+ pre-rigged shadow layers)
------------------------------------------------
Each trait group has a base layer (your flat painted shape) plus a Shadow
layer pre-set up:

  * Blend mode: Multiply
  * Opacity: 40%
  * Clipping mask: enable per-layer in Procreate (one tap each)

Once imported, tap each "<Trait> Shadow" layer once and toggle "Clipping
Mask" ON. Just 6 taps total: Hair Back / Body / Skin / Shirt / Hair Front /
Headwear Shadow. After that, painting on the shadow layer with the Universal
Shadow swatch automatically stays inside the trait's shape.

Trait-zone groups (Tattoos, Necklaces, Mouth, Eyes) don't have shadows —
they're flat detail/accent traits where shading doesn't make sense.

LIP RINGS / MOUTH ACCESSORIES
-----------------------------
Lip rings, snake bites, spider bites, septum-over-lip, cigarettes, etc. live
on the "Mouth Accessory" layer INSIDE the Mouth group. They sit there (not
in Necklaces) because they have to be drawn to match the specific mouth
shape underneath — a smile vs frown vs pout positions the ring differently.
Paint the mouth and its accessory together as a unit.

WORKFLOW RULES
--------------
- Each trait lives ONLY in its group. Pants change? Edit only Pants group.
- Use the Universal Shadow swatch on Multiply ~30-50% to shade ANYTHING.
- Use the Universal Highlight swatch on Lighten/Screen ~30-50% for highlights.
- Outline color is "Hair Shadow" (#281828) for warm soft lines, or pure black
for hard contrast — your character uses pure black, default to that.
- DON'T flatten. Save copies if you want flats.

CANVAS
------
- 3000 x 3000 px @ 300dpi
- Square, no bleed (NFT format)
- Transparent background by default (BG layer visible but empty)

PALETTE FILES NOTE
------------------
Procreate displays 30 swatch slots per palette. Empty slots after the named
colors are normal — they're just unused cells you can claim later.

GENERATING NEW NFT VARIANTS
---------------------------
1. Duplicate the .procreate file (don't edit the master).
2. In the copy, paint inside each trait group.
3. Export as PNG (Actions -> Share -> PNG) at full 3000x3000.
4. NFT marketplaces will down-res to 1500/2000 automatically.
