What we collect
Nothing. The Emo Meme Picker browser extension does not collect, store, log, or transmit any personal information. There is no analytics, telemetry, fingerprinting, or tracking of any kind.
How the extension works
All meme files are bundled inside the extension package. When you click a meme, it is loaded from the extension's local storage and attached to your tweet, reply, quote tweet, or DM through X's standard upload mechanism. No data is sent to any server we control.
Where the extension runs
The extension only activates on:
- x.com
- twitter.com
On those pages, it adds a meme picker button to the tweet composer toolbar and DM message input. It does not read tweet contents, DM contents, account information, or any other data from those pages.
Permissions
The extension requests host permissions for x.com and twitter.com solely to inject the meme picker button into compose toolbars and to programmatically attach selected memes via the standard paste / file-input mechanism. No other permissions are requested.
Third parties
The extension does not communicate with any third-party servers, advertising networks, or analytics services. It does not load any remote code, fonts, or images at runtime.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new effective date will appear at the top of this page and a note will be included in the extension's release notes.
