What emonad.lol stores
Most of the site works with no account and stores nothing about you beyond your browser's own cache. Logging in with X is optional and only powers the XP system.
If you log in, authentication is handled by Clerk. We then store your X numeric user ID, handle, display name and avatar URL, plus your XP events (clicks, daily game plays, referrals) and game records in a Supabase database, so your profile and the leaderboard can show them. Public profile pages and the leaderboard display your handle, display name, avatar and XP.
On your device
Your theme preference, game progress (Emo Crush levels, Flap Emonad best score and settings), your last tarot reading and any pending referral code are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes them.
Third parties
We use Google Analytics for aggregate visit counts. Token prices come from DEXScreener, avatars may be fetched from unavatar.io, and share previews are rendered by a Cloudflare Worker on i.emonad.lol. Each of those services sees the requests your browser makes to them, under their own policies.
Deleting your data
Message @EmonadCoin or email emonad@emonad.lol from the account in question and we'll remove your profile and XP records.
What we collect
Nothing. The Emo Meme Picker browser extension does not collect, store, log, or transmit any personal information. There is no analytics, telemetry, fingerprinting, or tracking of any kind.
How the extension works
All meme files are bundled inside the extension package. When you click a meme, it is loaded from the extension's local storage and attached to your tweet, reply, quote tweet, or DM through X's standard upload mechanism. No data is sent to any server we control.
Where the extension runs
The extension only activates on:
- x.com
- twitter.com
On those pages, it adds a meme picker button to the tweet composer toolbar and DM message input. It does not read tweet contents, DM contents, account information, or any other data from those pages.
Permissions
The extension requests host permissions for x.com and twitter.com solely to inject the meme picker button into compose toolbars and to programmatically attach selected memes via the standard paste / file-input mechanism. No other permissions are requested.
Third parties
The extension does not communicate with any third-party servers, advertising networks, or analytics services. It does not load any remote code, fonts, or images at runtime.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new effective date will appear at the top of this page and a note will be included in the extension's release notes.
